I have scheduled the Community Room for WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 24th AT 7 PM for a meeting of all those who would like to have a discussion on the adjacent property issue. I hope to have completed a review of all of the documents from the previous attempt to develop the property and be able to present some concrete issues to be covered in a possible petition to the Palo Alto Planning Commission and/or City Council when and if this issue comes up. Please try to attend so that we can coordinate all of our ideas into a united front.
Dick & I appreciate all your work on this important issue. We regret that we are unable to attend the meeting this Wednesday. We hope an email update will be sent thereafter.
We would also like to have a copy of the rezoning request — or a link/reference or whatever so that we could obtain a copy ourselves.
I have collected all the files from the club house on the original adjacent property request and had a very good discussion with Ree. I want to try to make a synopsis of the relevant facts and talking points so we can draft a petition which the majority of homeowners will be able to support. I would hope that you and Ree will be able to serve as co-chairs for this committee so we can keep the momentum going when I am in Israel in September.
I’ll be there, but Mike already has a commitment for that evening and won’t be able to attend.
