What it’s Like to Be Stranded on an Island with Fidel Castro

Jim Colton is a photographer whose work has been exhibited in several local, juried competitions.  In February 2015 he traveled to Cuba as a visiting artist.  Through connections from a photographer colleague and frequent visitor to Cuba, Jim got access to many people and sites that are off limits to organized tours of Cuba.  He visited typical Cuban citizens in their homes and with the principal photographer that documented the Cuban Revolution.  In this presentation, Jim gives a picture of the life of an average Cuban since the Revolution.  His photographs can be viewed at jimcolton.zenfolio.com.
