Owners and Residents are reminded that we are all responsible for maintaining the appearance, quality, and value of our property.  The Exclusive Use Common Areas, including patios and balconies, are not to be used for storage of supplies, clotheslines, personal property or unsightly objects (CCR 6.2), or dangerous materials (CCR 6.6). The owner/resident is responsible for keeping those areas in a clean and sanitary condition (CCR 6.10). Other restrictions may apply as detailed in the CC&Rs. If you have any questions regarding suitability of any items you wish to place in an Exclusive Use Common Area, please contact PML or a Board member for advice.

Is your water heater more than 10 years old?  It may be time for a new one.  This is especially important for upstairs units, because flooding affects your downstairs neighbor’s unit, as well as your own.  Owners will be responsible for any of their own repairs and also that of their affected neighbors.  It will be less expensive for your costs, time, energy, and recovering from the disruption.  Remember to inform PML when the work is completed so that the new water heater will be included in our association insurance records.
